General Aviation announced that the General Aviation Hangar Complex and the General Aviation Apron at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW), Istanbul will be operated by General Aviation for the next 10 years. As a part of the agreement General Aviation will provide hangaring, cleaning and maintenance services in five cell hangar complex with a covered area of 110,000 square feet and provide handling services on a dedicated general aviation apron.

The move will expand General Aviation’s presence in Istanbul area, which serves as the hub for operations and maintenance for business and corporate aviation in number of countries in the vicinity. Customers operating in the region will benefit from the combination of General Aviation’s experience and professionalism, which exceeds 30 years of service. As a fully integrated part of the General Aviation’s wide array of services, the facility will offer the same level of services that customers have come to expect from the company – including a flight planning and support department.

Hangar facilities and the general aviation apron, a total of 600,000 square feet will offer services including but not limited to ground handling, parking, catering, fueling, cleaning and maintenance services and a VIP Lounge.

As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, General Aviation will continue to establish new strategic businesses.
